2015 January 5th


          Today I learned discourse markers about Addition
Comparison Contrast Cause Effect Example and
Detnition and Problem solution. I did exercise idenlify
gonre of text and discourse markers. finally teacher said
about 5 domains of learning.
          I thought when I did exercise found keyword
easy for me this lesson. I can understood some
keyword and I felt fun this learned today.
          I thought terminology was problem for me
because I not good terminology furthermore
I was thinking very slowly.
          I known problem for me was terminology
so I attermpted found remembered and more than learned.
         This lesson I felt begin difficult. I think
this course very hard actual I don't like this
coruse but I must learned for teacher in the future.

     - Today I learned about Recount and I did exercise

text recount simile last week but today I read the text 3 story 

and I found terminology about background information 

answer and question and I did T(true) or F(false)

from the story.

     - I thought exercise T(true) or F(false) easy for me

and for everyone.

     - I thought  answer the question from the story a little bit

difficalt foe me.

     - I thought intend read story and understood means.

     - I felt so happy & enjoy for this lesson "Recount"

but I should more learn and more practice.

- Today I learned about second part of the story. I red the story and answers question. Then I told my friend about my feeling of the story this lesson was fun.

     

- I thought when I told feeling it fun and easy for me because it's my opinion.

- I thought when I did exercise I slowly so it's difficult for me.

                    - I tried to do exercise more quickly and tried to answers.

                 - I felt fun and got knowledge because teacher and my friends activity together.

      - Today I learned about "Description" of animals is Komodo Dragon, descrip about apperance, feed, etc.

     

     - I think when I did exercise match word with correct meaning easy for me.

     - I think when I did exercise are problem for me because some question I couldn't found answer.

     - I'll try to do exercise by myself not copy friend and try to find answer.

     - I felt fun for this lesson because I like to study about animals so I like to descrip Komodo Dragon too.

Description

- Today I learned about " Description"                descripe about "Budapest and Prague" and    I found (adjective) the word that descripe    the places to the text then I answered question .

After that I learned unit5  "Procedure/stucture/Howto....." ingredient Method.

 I did exercise about "omelete and Chicken soup.

                                                            
 - When I did exercise. I think easy for me and how to food because
    I like to make food.

- Not thing difficult for me for this today everything so fun and I can 
  understand this lesson.

- I don't have problem for this today. However I'll try to learn more.

- I felt happy and I like procedure the food.

A Second Language

- Today I learned about A Second Language and I found main idea and detail. Then I answered question. Finally my friends showed video about Secret "Kylie"

- I think exercise and question easy for me because the story has easy words so I could do exercise.

- Difficult for me is found main idea and details. 

- I tried to learned more, get more.

- Today I felt so fun, but sometime I felt drowsy too.

Cause and Effect

 March 16,2015
- In the afternoon I learned Cause and Effect. I found discourse marker from the texts are " Titanic and The effect of Stress" Then I answered the question. 

- When I answered the question it's easy for me.

- When I found discourse marker it's problem with me because I don't know some discourse marker so, I couldn't do it.

   

 - I'll try to find the mean of discourse marker so I'll do it.

     

- I felt a lot of fun with this lesson because it's about "Titanic" then I very like this story so I intend and enjoy with it.

     March 16, 2015.
     - In the morning I learned about " Men and women " Do they  speak  the same language? I found discourse marker about Comparison  and Contrast.Then I did exercises

   

- When I found discourse marker it's easy for me

      - Main idea in my own words it's difficult for me. I couldn't do it.

     - I'll try to practice  for main idea, read the stories more for think main idea in my own words.

     - I felt fun for this lesson and got knowledge about Comparison and Contrast.

Difference language between Men and women of Thailand

Women

women is talking about "Private matter" more than men.Women use emotion  decide true/false and talking circuitous and behind but not use with boss.Language for boss is euphemistic and formal.

Men

Men is talking about " Sport" and change title faster than women. In the group talking the story interesting they will say and talkative because they like that story but in the group talking the story not interesting they will be quiet, don't say, ans don't have opinion.

April 3 2015 

- I read the text about " What is language " I found Exemplification  markers and complete  the sentences. Then I started new lesson about " problem and Solution " this lesson has many discourse markers. After that I did exercises such as circle the problem markers. highlight the solution markers and wrote either Problem or Solution in margin next to the relevant information.

     - I think when I found discourse markers it's easy for me

     - I think when I found Problem or Solution in the margin next to the relevant information it's difficult for me because I didn't listen the teacher.

    - I'll ask some friend and intend for the final.
    - I felt so sleepy because I studied in the afternoon after had lunch so I don't understand some part.

March 23 In the afternoon,

      - I learned about " Exemplification " and read the text about College Student' Pressures then I completed the diagram and highlight the examplification, text 2  Mach the place with the activities, text 3 Answer the questions.

     - I think when I mach the place with the activities and I found discourse markers it's easy for me.

     - I think when I did the diagrams it's problem with me. I couldn't write the diagrams.

     - I'll try to read the text many time and try to do it. I'll practice many time.

     - I felt so fun because this lesson has many exercises so I like to did it.

Problem and Solution

    - I read many passage such as Machine gun, Teenager's car accidents, Car overhead and malfunction     and Bicycle. Then I found the main idea and title. After that I did exercises and answer the question. 

I could give at least three example from the article.   

    

 - I think when I answer the questions it's easy with me. 

I could do it.

     - I think when I found or think the title and main idea because I'll do exam.

- I'll try to more practice for the title and main idea because I'll do exam.

- I felt a bit of stress because the last lesson 

it's difficult for me.

     - I learned 11 lessons such as Recount, Narrative, Description, Procedure, Comparison and Contrast, Cause/Effect, Definition, Classification, Exemplification and Problem solving.

     - Recount Purpose: to tell what happen and black ground information.
     - Narratives purpose: the writer's reflections on experience and imagination.
     - Descriptive purpose: to describe and reveal a particular person, place and thing.
     - Procedure purpose: to tell how to make/how to use/structure.
     - Comparison and Contrast purpose; to tell pattern similarities between two or more thing and differences between two or both similarities and differences.

- Cause and Effect purpose: to show how the facts or concepts result due to other, events or concepts.

- Definition and Classification purpose: to tell refer to... or meaning.- Exemplification purpose: to tell example.

- Problem and solution purpose: to tell signal word in the passage.

    - I think when I did exercises with my friends it's easy for me because my friends and I help thinking.

    - I think when I studied I couldn't understand because each lesson have many dificult word so it's problem with me.

    - I'll try to find vocabulary and try to practice for final exam.
    - I got alot of knowledge about this subject. I felt so fun more than bored because teacher tought slowly and helps my friends and I when we did exercises so I intend to studied and feelt so fun with this subject.

      - I learned about " Definition and Classification " Then I did exercises such as  circle  Definition markers, highlight the teachnical terms, underline the difinition, circle the classification markers, draw the diagrams showing classification. After that I read the text about  What is Anthropology? and answer the questions that follow.

     - I think when I found discourse markers it's easy for me.

     - I think when I found the main idea of the text it's problem with me because I couldn't find the main idea.

     - I'll try to practice more for find the main idea of the text.

     - I felt a little bit stress because this lesson it's difficult for me.

- Today I learned about "Comparison and Contrast" I found discourse markers simile and difference of similality and differences between Herricane Andrew,Herricane Katrina,subway of New York city,and Paris.

- I think not thing easy for me because teacher said "This lesson is difficult" I think so.

- Thinking Topic and Main idea problem with me I couldn't think that.

- I'll try to learn more for find Main idea and Topic.

- I felt excited when I found the words in the Herricane because this story is interesting and scaring.

     - Today I learned about Narrative is simile recount and I did exercise red the text and complete related tasks then my group share the story another group. Teacher told about  " 's " such as " kylie's" should be " her kylie's ".

     - I thought my diagrams easy for me because I known myself and I known my secrets I like this activity.

     - I thought when my group complete summary of the first past of the story it's difficult for me because we usually add detail but teacher told add only main idea not detail.

     

- I'll red much time and try to find main idea

     - I felt happy this lesson. It's a lot of fun when did group and shared in class and the story is fun too.

      - Today learned about Recount and I did exercise text recount. I could identify between orientation with events and I could found background information include when who what where action verb linking verb and specific participants.

      - I thought found orientation with events easy for me.

      - I thought answer the questions some question difficult for me because I couldn't  found some answer.

      - I known problem for me and I attempted found answer but I wanted more time.

      - I felt more happier than last week and I like activity I had group help thought.
